Recruitment of Assistant Administrator Officer in LIC

The LIC (Life insurance Corporation of India) conducts the recruitment for AAO (Assistant Administrator Officer). Indian insurance market is vast holding loads of potential for candidates seeking career opportunities in business, finance and managing money. The job of an AAO in Life Insurance Company is to interact with the clients, to make a better profit to the company and manage the claims and adjusting the settlements between clients and employees. The candidates selected for the post of Assistant Administrator Officer will be under probation for one year, extendable up to 2 years.

LIC AAO 2018 Pay Scale

Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance & City Compensatory Allowance wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs 40,245/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.

LIC AAO 2018 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for LIC AAO 2018 Recruitment, candidates must first fulfil all the eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification:
  1. The candidate must successfully complete their graduation or post graduation degree in any discipline without any backlog in the respective discipline.
  2. Candidates must possess a good communication skill.
  3. Candidates must have the basic knowledge of computer.
  4. Candidates must be fluent in the local language of the respective region.  
P.S.: Candidates in their final year of graduation or post graduation are not eligible to apply for the post of AAO.

Nationality:
  1. Citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee and migrated Peoples from Pakistan, Burma, Zaire, Sri Lanka, Zambia, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are allowed to give exam.
Age Limit:
  1. The age of the candidates should be between 21-30 years. However, there is relaxation of age limit for candidates belonging to the reserved category -
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (non creamy layer): 3 years
    • Person with disabilities (SC/ST): 15 years
    • PWD (OBC): 13 years
    • PWD (GEN): 10 years
    • ECO/SSCO/ (OBC): 8  years
    • ECO/SSCO(SC/ST) :10 years
    • LIC employees: 5 years

LIC AAO 2018 Selection Procedure

This is all India national level examination conducted by the Life insurance Company. The recruitment LIC AAO 2018 has the four phases. After the successful submission of the application form. LIC AAO 2018 Pre-Exam Training

Candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST will be eligible for a Pre-Examination Training. They may register their name and other details with the Divisional Office of LIC convenient to them after submission of online application. The Divisional Office will inform the registered candidates, the date and venue of the training. Such candidates would have to attend the training at their own cost on the appointed dates and at the venue advised to them.
