BLAT: BHU UET for BA-LLB Admission

The BLAT is synonymous for BHU BA LLB Entrance Test. This test is held for integrated program admission into Under Graduate law course i.e. BA LLB offered by School of Law, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The BHU Publishes detailed notification for the conduct of this entrance examination together with other under graduate programs as UET i.e. Undergraduate Entrance Test. The UET is on schedule now. While BHU UET entrance test is common for many courses, for specific courses the UET is administered separately including BLAT. The candidates who qualify in the BLAT i.e. UET for BA LLB Integrated program need to complete a coursework of 5 years after which degree is awarded.

Important: The BHU offers admission to 5 Year Integrated BA LLB Programme based on CUET UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). No separate written test is organized anymore. However, admission process is not centralized. Candidates are required to fill application form and appear for counseling. 

UET – BLAT Last Date

The last date for submission of UGAT / BLAT / BHU BA LLB Admission Test Application Form is Mid March.

UET – BLAT Entrance Exam Date

The UET or Integrated BA LLB Admission Test i.e. BLAT is scheduled on Mid May. The test will be administered both as PBT (Paper Based Test) and CBT (Computer Based Test). Its completely choice of a candidate whether one will appear for PBT or CBT. However, test takers need to mark there choice of mode of examination whether PBT or CBT during filling of application form.

Eligibility Requirements: BLAT / BHU BA LLB /Integrated Law UGET

Applicant who has successfully completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent (Such as 11 1, “A” level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) examination from a recognized University of India  or outside  or  from  a  Senior  Secondary  Board  or  equivalent  constituted  or  recognized  by  the  Union  or  by  a  State  Government  or  from  any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course.However,  the  applicant  who  have  obtained 10+2  or  Graduation/Post-graduation through  open  Universities  System  directly without having any basic qualification for pursuingsuch studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course.

Minimum Marks: Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants, 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant.

Course Fee BHU BA LLB Intake

Rs.60,000/-per annum. In addition, a student would be required to pay the regular fee component prescribed for the course. (Note: Fee is subject to change).
