Students who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can opt for MBBS. The MBBS is a 5.5 year (4.5 years academic education 1 year mandatory internship) at the undergraduate level. One can go for postgraduate program which is of 2 years and leads to MD and MS depending upon the area of specialisation. The courses taught at the undergraduate level include Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry,Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, and Forensic Medicine, Ear Nose and Throat and Ophthalmology among others.
Medical Entrance Exam in India
Admission to medical colleges in India s through a common admission test called NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS/ dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.
