Note:
  1. The total emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee starts from around 23600/- per month payable at Metro like Mumbai. The emoluments is inclusive of D.A. and other allowances at the current rate. The allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

  2. The employees will also be eligible for the reimbursement of various perquisites, Leave fare, Medical, Pension under New Pension scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), provident fund and other facilities, as per instructions of the Bank as may be issued from time to time.

Note:
  1. For each incorrect response, 0.25 of the mark assigned for a particular question will be deducted.

  2. The candidates must score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate as decided by the bank. However, there is a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS

Test of specified opted local language: Candidates who have successfully passed any local language in their class 10th or Class 12th board exams are not required to sit for the Language test. However, for others, a specified opted local language test will be conducted after the provisional selection process and just before the final joining. Candidates who fail to clear the specified opted local language test would be disqualified from joining.

SBI Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) Eligibility Criteria

The candidate are required to fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the SBI PO Exam:

Age Limit:

A candidate is required to be between 20-28 years to be eligible for SBI Junior Associates exam.

Relaxation of Upper age limit:
  1. SC/ST: 5 Years
  2. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  3. PWD (Gen): 10 Years
  4. Persons With Disabilities (PWD) PWD (SC/ST): 15 Years
  5. PWD (OBC): 13 Years
  6. Ex Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in defence service 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex- Servicemen belonging
  7. to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years)
  8. Persons Ordinarily domiciled of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 Years
  9. Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried: 7 years (subject to maximum age limit for General category: 35 years, OBC: 38 years and SC/ST: 40 years

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must complete their Graduation in any discipline or other equivalent degree from a recognised University.

Nationality

A candidate is required to be: A citizen of India, A subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan, A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India or a person of Indian origin who migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam and have the intention of settling permanently in India.

Seat Reservations for Persons with Disability (PWD)

Persons with undernoted categories of disabilities are eligible for the PWD category reservation

A. Visual Impairment (VI):

Only those Visually Impaired (VI) candidates who suffer from any one of the following conditions, are eligible to apply.

i. Blindness: (a) Candidates whose Visual acuity is less than 3/60 or less than 10/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with best possible correction or (b) total absence of sight or Visual acuity less than 3/60 or less than 10/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with best possible correction or (c) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of less than 10 degree falls under the blindness category.

ii. Low Vision: (a) Candidates whose limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of less than 40 degree up to 10 degree or (b) visual acuity is not exceeding 6/18 or less than 20/60 upto 3/60 or upto 10/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with best possible corrections or (c) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of less than 40 degree up to 10 degree falls under the low vision category.

B. Hearing Impaired (HI):

i. Deaf: Candidates having 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both ears.
ii. Hard of Hearing: Person having 60 DB to 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both ears.

C. Locomotor Disabilities (LD):

Locomotor Disability includes:
i) Cerebral Palsy
ii) Leprosy cured
iii) Dwarfism
iv) Acid attack victims
v) Muscular dystrophy.

Candidates who are orthopedically challenged are covered under locomotor disability with following bench mark:
i. OA - One arm affected (Right or Left)
ii. OL - One leg affected (Right or Left)
iii. OAL - One arm & One Leg affected
iv. BL - Both legs affected but not arms

Candidates who fall under OA and OAL category should have normal bilateral hand functions.
