Role of Parasitologist

Working in a laboratory environment
Researching parasites to determine how they attack human beings and animals
Investigate how they're transmitted from host to host.
Parasitologists also develop methods and agents to combat parasites

Academic Qualification for Parasitologist

For Bachelors course, one can either take up an undergraduate course in B.Sc in biology or chemistry and then do a Master's degree in parasitology. One can specialise in cellular biology, entomology and other related health and biology fields of study.
