IAF NCC Special Entry For Men And Women

The National Cadet Corps who possess Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ Certificate can apply for admission into Flying Branch of Indian Air Force (IAF). Men can join in Permanent Commission (PC) or Short Service Commission (SSC). For female candidates only Short Service Commission (SSC) is offered.
 
Unmarried National Cadet Corps both males and females in the age group of 20 to 24 years are eligible to apply. The candidates who have obtained Commercial Pilot License (CPL) from Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India are eligible for 2 years relaxation in age.

Educational Qualification IAF NCC Special Entry

The NCC cadets need to meet following educational requirements
  • Completion of 4 Years engineering degree course with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates with 3 Year graduate degree and programs like Integrated or Dual degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidtes who have completed AMIE Section A & B OR Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
  • Minimum marks obtained in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level examination must not be less than 60%
