APS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
i. Age LimitFresh Applicants: The age of the candidates should not be more than 40 Years
Experienced Applicants: The age of the candidates should not be more than 57 years
P.S. Experienced Applicants should have a minimum 5 years of teaching experience
ii. Educational QualificationsPGT: Candidates should have done M.Ed with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institute.
TGT: Candidates should have done B.Ed with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institute.
PRT: Candidates should have done B.Ed or a 2-year diploma with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institute.
APS Recruitment Exam Pattern
Exam Type: Online
Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions
Duration:PGT/ TGT: 3 hours
PRT: 1 hour 30 Minutes
Marks: 90 marks for each paper
APS Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process will consist of 3 stages:
- Written Exam
- Personal Interview
- Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test
Stage I – Written ExamPosts: PGT/ TGT
Paper ATopics: General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology
Marks: 90
Paper BTopics: Specific to Subject
Marks: 90
Total Duration: 3 Hours
Post: PRT
Paper ATopics: General awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology
Duration: 1 hour 30 Minutes
Marks: 90
Note:
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- To qualify in the written examination, candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in each part of the written exam.
Stage II – Personal InterviewOnce you qualify the written exam, you will be called for the Personal Interview Round. The Personal Interview will be conducted at various centers of India.
Stage III – Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency TestIn Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test For Language teachers, the written test will comprise of Essay & Comprehension of 15 marks each will be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills.
