SSC in Remount Veterinary Corps in Indian Army

The Indian Army has invited applications for recruitment for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps. The Remount and Veterinary Corporation is an administrative and operational branch of the Indian Army, and one of its oldest formations. It is responsible for breeding, rearing, and training of all animals used in the army. Applications are invited from qualified male veterinary graduates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army.

SSC in Remount Veterinary Corps Pay Scale

A basic pay of Rs 15, 600; Grade Pay of Rs 6, 100; Military Service Pay of Rs. 6,000 and other admissible allowances including Non- Practice Allowance (NPA).

SSC in Remount Veterinary Corps Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicant should be a citizen of India.

Age limit: The candidates applying for this post should be between 21 and 32 years.

Educational qualification: The candidates should successfully completed BVSc/ BVSc and AH degree or other equivalent degree from a recognized university.

SSC in Remount Veterinary Corps Selection process

The candidates will be short listed through a two-stage selection process. The candidates qualifying Stage I will have to appear for Stage II- group test, psychological test and interview.

The candidates recommended by Service Selection Board (SSB), declared medically fit, will be inducted for training in order of merit. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates at SSB. Short-listed candidates will be commissioned in the rank of a 'Captain' and would be required to serve the Indian Army for a period of five years.
