Educational Qualification: ICG AC Tech Branch

Candidates with a degree in Engineering or Technology i.e. BSc, BE, BTech in one of the following study disciplines are eligible to apply

  • Aeronautical Engineering
  • Naval Architecture
  • Marine Engineering
  • Control Engineering
  • Design Engineering
Minimum marks achieved in qualifying degree examination must be 60% or an equivalent CGPA. There is 5% relaxation in marks available for SC/ST candidates, NCC ‘C’ Certificate (A Grade) holders, Sports person of National Level and wards of Coast Guard personnel deceased while in service.

Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering of are expected to pass with 60% or equivalent CGPA.
Also applicants required to pass Class 12th Examination with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age limit ICG AC Tech Branch

The age of applicants should fall in the range of 21 to 25 years. Candidates belonging to SC, ST categories are eligible for 5 years relaxation in age, while for candidates belonging to OBC category 3 years age relaxation is applicable.
