For the purpose the ITBP recruits manpower in the categories of Cook/Water Carrier/Barber/Washerman/Safai Karmachari in the rank of Constable. Eligibility Criteria: ITBP Followers

Age: Between 18 to 25 years Relaxation is age limit is available upto 5 years for workers for government, Scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST); up to 3 years for Other Backward Class OBC. Reservation criteria is available according to government rules.
Educational Qualification
Passed Class 10th Examination from any recognized board of education

For all candidates except categories mentioned below: Male- 170 cms Female-157 cms ii) Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir: Male- 165 cms Female-155 cms iii) All candidates belonging Scheduled Tribes category: Male-162.5 cms Female- 150 cms iv) The minimum height for all Scheduled Tribe candidates hailing from the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura and Left Wing Extremism affected districts: Male- 160 cms Female- 147.5 cms v) The minimum height for the candidates hailing from the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura and candidates hailing from Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) comprising of the three Sub Divisions of Darjeeling District namely Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Kurseong and includes the following “Mouzas” Sub-Division of these Districts:- (1) Lohagarh Tea Garden (2) Lohagarh Forest (3) Rangmohan (4) Barachenga (5) Panighata (6) Chota Adalpur (7) Paharu (8) Sukna Forest (9) Sukna Part-I (10) Pantapati Forest-1 (11) Mahanadi Forest (12) Champasari Forest (13) Salbari Chhatpart-II (14) Sitong Forest (15) Sivoke Hill Forest (16) Sivoke Forest (17) Chhota Chenga (18) Nipania: Male- 162.5 cms Female- 152.5 cms

Male:- i) 1.6 Km race to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds. Ii) 11 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3½ Feet high jump (03 chances to be given)
Female- i) 800 mtrs race to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds. Ii) 9 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3 Feet high jump (03 chances to be given)
