ITBP Constable (Telecommunication)

Communication is the backbone of Indian Armed Forces. To pass messages from and to the various quarters the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) recruits Constable (Telecommunication). Here are application procedure details.

Eligibility Criteria: ITBP Constable (Telecommunication)

Age: Between 18 to 23 years Relaxation is age limit is available upto 5 years for workers for government, Scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST); up to 3 years for Other Backward Class OBC. Reservation criteria is available according to government rules.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent

Technical Qualification: Diploma or Certificate Course from an ITI or any other recognised institution.

Physical Standards: ITBP Constable (Telecommunication)

Male: For all except categories given below- 170 cms -Candidates fallling in categories of Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, HP, Leh & Ladakh and Kashmir regions of J&K and NE States- 165 cms - STs- 162.5 cms

Female: For all except categories given below- 157 cms -Candidates fallling in categories of Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, HP, Leh & Ladakh and Kashmir regions ofJ&K and NE States- 155 cms - STs- 150 cms

Only for males -For all candidates except categories given below- Unexpanded- 80 cms Expanded- 85 cms - Candidates fallling in categories of Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, HP, Leh & Ladakh and Kashmir regions ofJ&K and NE States:- Unexpanded- 78 cms Expanded- 83 cms -For STs- Unexpanded- 76 cms Expanded- 81 cms

PET Requirements: ITBP Constable (Telecommunication)

Male:- i) 1.6 Km race to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds. Ii) 11 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3½ Feet high jump (03 chances to be given) Female- i) 800 mtrs race to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds. Ii) 9 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3 Feet high jump (03 chances to be given)
