Everyone need a counselor so does the men and women in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). To keep forces in good mental and physical health the ITBP recruits Education & Stress Counselor. Eligibility Criteria: ITBP Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor)

Age: Between 20 to 25 years
Relaxation is age limit is available upto 5 years for workers for government, Scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST); up to 3 years for Other Backward Class OBC. Reservation criteria is available according to government rules.

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject OR Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.

Male:- -For all except categories given below- 170 cms -Candidates fallling in categories of Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, HP, J&K and NE States- 165 cms - STs- 162.5 cms

Female:- -For all except categories given below- 157 cms -Candidates fallling in categories of Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, HP, J&K and NE States- 155 cms - STs- 154 cms

Chest

Only for males -For all categories except STs- Unexpanded- 80 cms Expanded- 85 cms -For STs- Unexpanded- 77 cms Expanded- 82 cms

PET Requirements: ITBP Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor)

Male:- i) 1.6 Km race to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds. Ii) 11 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3½ Feet high jump (03 chances to be given) Female- i) 800 mtrs race to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds. Ii) 9 feet long jump (03 chances to be given) iii) 3 Feet high jump (03 chances to be given)
