Eligibility Criteria: ITBP Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) Examination

Age: Not more than 30 years
Relaxation in age criteria up to 5 years is available to central government employees.
Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with Hindi as one of the main subject and English as elective subject and working knowledge or computer application.

Male:- -For all except categories given below- 170 cms -Candidates belonging to hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, HP, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha, Sikkimies, Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir valley and NE States- 165 cms - STs- 162.5 cms

Female:- -For all except categories given below- 157 cms -Candidates belonging to hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, HP, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha, Sikkimies, Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir valley and NE States- 155 cms - STs- 154 cms

Chest

Only for males -For all categories except STs- Unexpanded- 80 cms Expanded- 85 cms -For STs- Unexpanded- 77 cms Expanded- 82 cms

PET Requirements: ITBP Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) Examination

Male:- i) 1.6 Km race to be completed within 7 minutes 30 seconds ii) 100 Mtrs to be completed within 16 seconds. Female- i) 800 Mtrs to be completed within 4 minutes 45 seconds. Ii) 100 Mtrs to be completed within 18 seconds.

Paper-I General Knowledge, English & Hindi (Objective type) 100 Marks- One and half hour time

Paper-II Professional test: Translation (English to Hindi and Hindi to English)- 100 Marks-One and half hour time

Rs. 200/- No fee is being charged from candidates belonging to SC/ST community, Ex-serviceman and women.
