Indian Institute of Crafts and Designs (IICD)
The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall accept CUCET 2019 Score for admission into Under Graduate and Post Graduate Design programmes for the Academic Session 2019-20 Students looking for design career after Class 12th can get admission into B.Des program, while those looking for a Post Graduate Degree in Design can join M.Des program. The courses offered are recognized by Central University of Rajasthan.
The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programme is of 4 years duration while Master of Design (M.Des) programme takes 2 years.
The IICD Jaipur has good level of industrial ties. In previous years, its students have got placement in companies like Titan, Fab India, Tata Ceramics, and Tripura Bamboo Mission Industries etc.
The IICD was started as Institute of Craft in 1995 is now a premier institute to pursue design programmes at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. Besides IICD also conducts research work in the areas of Craft and Design.

Academic Programs of IICD
UG Degree Programme
A leading institute of crafts and design, IICD, Jaipur offers a degree in undergraduate courses that include:

All students enrolled in the bachelors of design course need to clear individual subject modules and a formal end semester jury to progress to the subsequent semesters, where they are expected to present their work towards a specified context.
PG Degree Programme
Candidates can pursue postgraduate in designing course at IICD under three categories:
- Fired Material Specialization: Focusing on ceramics (earthenware, stoneware, terracotta, porcelain)
- Hard Material Specialization: Focusing on materials like wood, metal, stone, cane & bamboo and other allied materials
- Soft Material Specialization: Focusing on textiles, leather, paper and natural fibres.
The PG Degree programme course monitors the progress of the students through tutorials, group critiques, work reviews, and juries. Post graduation in designing at IICD includes hands-on learning in connecting with various artisans, NGOs, and other experts. A student at IICD becomes a postgraduate in design with the brilliant opportunity to ‘live’ design a project, an opportunity for him/her to work with the market and a professional brief.
