ILSAT: ICFAI Law School Admission Test

The ICFAI Law School Admission Test commonly known as ILSAT is conducted by the ICFAI or the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India for admission to five year integrated BBA LLB (Hons) programs in ICFAI University.

Eligibility criteria for ILSAT Entrance Exam

  • The candidates should at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 or the higher secondary examination to be eligible to sit for ILSAT entrance exam.

  • Those candidates who have qualified in any other law entrance test conducted at the state or the National level are not required to sit for ILSAT and can just produce the score.

  • The candidates should not be more than 20 years of age (for general category), 22 years (for SC/ST) and 25 years (for the disabled) to be eligible to appear for ILSAT.

ILSAT Entrance Exam Pattern

The ILSAT entrance exam question paper will comprise of 125 multiple choice questions, divided into 5 sections having 25 questions carrying 1 mark each. All questions are in the form of. The candidates are required to choose the right answer by ticking on the specially designed OMR sheet.

ILSAT Entrance Exam Syllabus

The ILSAT entrance exam will have questions covered from various topics including:
  • English
  • General Knowledge / Current Affairs
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Legal Reasoning
  • Analytical Reasoning

ILSAT GD and PI Process

After the declaration of the result of ILSAT all shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview round. The PI round of ILSAT is conducted to assess the personality and communication skills of the candidates. The personal interview is conducted in offline mode and candidates are informed about the venue and timings after result declaration. At the time of ILSAT PI round, candidates will have to carry their original documents to the centre and submit them for verification purposes.

After the ILSAT interview, the conducting body will release a composite merit list on the basis of test scores and interview marks. And, finally, shortlisted candidates will be called for reporting and registration. The classes of undergraduate law courses will commence from July 31.
