IIMC Entrance Exam: Mass Communication Admission

The IIMC Entrance Examination is administered by Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) for selection of candidates for admission into various Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Mass Communication and Journalism. The courses offered through different IIMC campuses are mentioned below

IIMC Entrance Exam Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory for appearing for this exam. Those who have appeared/are appearing in final degree examinations are also eligible to apply. There is a special reservation quota for the SC/ ST too and five seats available in each Course for NRIs/NRI-sponsored candidates, for which a separate prescribed application form should be submitted.

IIMC Application Forms

Application forms for the IIMC Entrance Exam can be purchased in person or by post.

Application forms and prospectus would be available on payment of Rs. 1200/- for general category and Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category through a demand draft only, which must be drawn on any scheduled bank payable to Registrar IIMC at New Delhi, from IIMC New Delhi or IIMC Dhenkanal (Odisha). All applications should contain a Demand Draft & a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 70/-) envelope (27x17 cm).

Online application procedure is also available where you can download the form from the website www.iimc.nic.in. In this case too, each application form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- for General & Rs.1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi.

Candidates who wish to apply for more than one Course will have to fill separate application forms for each Course they wish to apply for.
