Education and Research Network (ERNET)

Dedicated to support the needs of the research and education community within the country, ERNET India was established in 1998 as an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. It operates ERNET network – a pan-Indian terrestrial and satellite network with 9 points of presence at premier research and academic institutions.

ERNET also provides access to its network through various connectivity options. Application services include E-mail hosting, domain registration, MPLS VPN. It also provides Web Services having state of art of Data Centre.

Other services include IT Consultancy and Project Management services for establishment of IT infrastructure & converged Network Projects.

Training Programs by ERNET

ERNET India has organized a number of training programs catering to specific requirements of its user communities from various domains belonging UGC, ICAR, Defence, KVKs, etc..
