Candidates should have successfully completed their class 10th or Matriculation from a recognized board or institution.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 Years. However, there’s a relaxation of age limit for candidates belonging to reserved category as per Government of India norms.

- Phase-I: Computer Based Test
- Phase-II: PET/ PMT
- Phase-III: Trade Test (For drivers/Ancillary staff/ Band)

General Intelligence and Reasoning:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35 marks
- General Knowledge/Awareness: 50 marks
- Arithmetic: 35 marks
Here the topics mostly includes number series, arithmetical reasoning, clocks and calendars, Alphabet series, Decision making, blood relations, non-verbal series. Analogy, Coding-Decoding, Number Ranking, Directions, Mirror Images, Embedded Figures Cubes and Dice, etc.General Knowledge/Awareness:
The General Knowledge/Awareness topics generally includes Indian Society and Geography, Current Affairs – National & International Importance, History, Culture, Science & Technology, Political Knowledge, Development Programs, Economics, Ecology and Environment, General Awareness of Railways.Arithmetic:
It comprises of topics such as average, number system, simplification, Decimals and Fractions, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Problems on Ages, Ratio and Proportions. Mixtures and Allegations.
