Educational Qualifications

Candidates should have successfully completed their class 10th or Matriculation from a recognized board or institution.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 Years. However, there’s a relaxation of age limit for candidates belonging to reserved category as per Government of India norms.

Recruitment Process for Constables in RPF and RPSF

The candidates are required to go through Four phases of selection:
  • Phase-I: Computer Based Test
  • Phase-II: PET/ PMT
  • Phase-III: Trade Test (For drivers/Ancillary staff/ Band)

General Knowledge/Awareness: The General Knowledge/Awareness topics generally includes Indian Society and Geography, Current Affairs – National & International Importance, History, Culture, Science & Technology, Political Knowledge, Development Programs, Economics, Ecology and Environment, General Awareness of Railways.

Arithmetic: It comprises of topics such as average, number system, simplification, Decimals and Fractions, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Problems on Ages, Ratio and Proportions. Mixtures and Allegations.
