The duties and responsibilities of a stenographer in Indian Railways

Speech Writing: The Stenographer are required to note down any speech given by any senior officers or ministers by applying the method of short hand.

Press Conference Briefings: Stenographers are sometimes required to attend press conferences along with a senior official or ministers. They need to note down the speech and make government press releases.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should have successfully completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates are required to have good computer skills.

Age Limit

• The age of the candidate should be atleast 18 Years as on 1st January of the year of applying.
