Design and Fine Arts Education

Design and Fine Arts education is completely different from other subjects as it requires some inborn talent. Fine Arts is the study of drawing, dance, sculpting, painting, literature, music, and theatre. To pursue a career in Fine Arts one must obtain a  Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree course. This is for those who have passed Plus two with any subject combination.The duration of the course is four years. An integrated course is offered in the first year, and the remaining three years are allocated for specialization in applied art. For those who wish to do an advanced course can opt for a Masters in Fine Arts.

BFA Entrance Exams in India

Most institutes have their own entrance exams which evaluates a candidates aptitude for fine arts. The entrance exam for admission to BFA (Bachelor in Fine Arts) cover topics including history of fine arts and design and general reasoning.
