Polytechnic can be described as a technical diploma course which comprises vocational education in the specialized streams of science, technology, and engineering. The governing bodies provide validity to your polytechnic qualification as technical qualification and entitles you to apply for jobs in the respected field in which you have acquired a Polytechnic Diploma/Certificate.

Central and State Government through various recruitment channels select Polytechnic students in various sectors, for example telecom, railways, airways etc. Generally, all such recruitment are for technical positions. For final selection written test and interview is conducted.
