As result the need for agricultural scientists have increased over the years. Agriculture Career Prospects


Today agriculture is not only limited to the farms. It is much beyond that. An agricultural scientist can venture into marketing, education of farmers, soil study, agro processing units and flood and drought management.The objective of agriculture science is to impart technical and professional knowledge of biological principles and use of pesticides, fertilizers and crop production to the farmers. One can pursue a Bachelor's degree followed by a Master's degree in agriculture.

Agriculture Entrance Exams


One can seek admission to various Agricultural Universities in India through the All India Entrance Exams conducted by ICAR. You can also seek admission in JNTU, through EAMCET. There are other state-level exams conducted by various universities.
