Chartered Accountancy (CA)

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) is a professional programme offered in India by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The course is administered at three levels:
  • Chartered Accountancy (CA) Foundation Courses
  • Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate Course
  • Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final Course
The candidates who successfully completes CA Final are eligible to work with industry and government as Chartered Account and offer professional services as Chartered Accountant. The demand for successful CA's is very high across India both in government and private sector. Also many business don't hire full time CAs hence there is massive demand for CA consulting firms and CA professionals.

The ICAI also offers placement facility to successful candidates. This helps in applying for many jobs using single window, to take as many interviews as a candidate wants and select from best job offers. Reputed industry employers and HR Managers register with ICAI for recruitment of qualified CA professionals.

Eligibility to join CA programme

There are two routes to join CA programme
1. After completion of 12 year of school education
2. After completion of graduation or post graduation
Candidates registering for CA programme after Class 12 must require to complete CA Foundation Course.
