Branch: Permanent Commission (PC)
Qualification:
  1. Candidate should have successfully completed their medical education from a recognized Indian University or foreign university recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must also be registered with any of the state councils or equivalent registering authority.
  2. Incentives: An antedate of 3 years seniority for post graduates and 2 years for post graduate diploma recognized by MCI and 6 months for a house job, done at a recognized hospital to fresh entrants.
  3. Candidate who has done a house job and post-graduation will be eligible for a maximum antedate seniority of 42 months.

Branch: AFMC Cadet Entry (MBBS Course after which commission is granted in AMC)
  1. Candidates should score a minimum of 60% of aggregate marks in their 10+2 with PCB. They must score atleast 50% in any of these subjects.
    Age: 17-22 Years

  2. Candidates should have done their Bachelor of Science.
    Age: 24 Years
Note: The selection for AFMC Cadet is held once a year through an All India level written examination followed by an Interview at Pune. The Advertisement are published in all National / Regional newspaper in Jan every year.

Army Dental Corps (ADC)- Includes Dental Branch of Indian Navy

Branch: Direct Permanent Commission
  1. Candidates should have successfully completed their Bachelor in Dental Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks in their final year/ MDS from a recognized Dental College of University.
  2. Candidates must have successfully complete their one year rotatory internship recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
  3. Candidate must successfully possess the Permanent Dental Registration Certificate.
Age: 28 Years for BDS, 30 Years for MDS.

Candidates applying for more than one type of entry are required to submit separate applications. However, only one application form is to be filled for a particular entry. Choice of entry is to be clearly indicated on the application form. Applications are received only through Ordinary Post. Applications received through speed post/ registered post or couriers are rejected.
