UGAT: Under Graduate Aptitude Test by AIMA

Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) annually for screening of candidates for various under graduate programs Integrated MBA (IMBA), BBA, BCA, BHM, B.Com, etc. Score in UGAT can help students interested in the hospitality sector to get admissions in their choice of institute. The examination is conducted only once a year.

Under Graduate Aptitude Test AIMA Application Process

UGAT AIMA application process can be done online and offline too. For the offline mode, you have to purchase the bulletin along with the UGAT form and profiles against cash payment of Rs 650/- from any of the listed Institutes or from AIMA, Lodhi Road New Delhi. One can also obtain the crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 650/- in favour of 'All India Management Association’ that is payable at Delhi from any Bank. The online process involves logging into the website and getting yourself registered. Then the payment of Rs. 650/- can be made either through net banking or even through credit or debit cards.

Once this process is done, you must retain a hard copy of the printed online form for future communications. Those who applied offline will be given the same from the respective offices, post completion of the forms.     

Eligibility Criteria AIMA UGAT

All students appearing for the UGAT AIMA must be above 18 years of age. However, there is no upper limit or age bar here. Students must have passed their class 12 examinations from affiliated and reputed institutes. UGAT AIMA can be taken both online and offline.

Exam Pattern AIMA UGAT

All questions for this exam are to be objective type. There will be two papers in the exam i.e. paper I and paper II. For the first paper, you have a time period of 2 hours and for the second one, just 1 hour or 60 minutes.

Paper I

• English 40 questions
• Numerical and data analysis 30 questions
• Reasoning 30 questions
• General knowledge 30 questions
• Total 130

Paper II

• Service aptitude 25 questions
• Scientific aptitude 25 questions
• Total 50

Both exams are conducted on the same day.
