Indian Navy: Submarine Technical Officer / Submarine Electrical Officer
The Indian Navy appoints Submarine Electrical Officers. There prime job is to manage and maintain high end control and weapon systems. The officers also get chance to pursue higher studies from top academic institutions like IITs.
The submarine technical officers are appointed as Sub Lieutenant. They go for 22 weeks Naval orientation course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala as well as professional training in other Naval Training Establishments/ships. On successful completion of training candidates are required to pass Submarine Qualifying Board.

You need at least 55% marks in BE/B Tech Degree in any one of the following streams: Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Control/Power Engg/Power Electronics/Instrumentation/Electronics & CommunicationSubmarine Engineer Officer:
You need at least 55% marks in BE/B Tech Degree in any one of the following streams: Mechanical/Marine/Automotive/Mectronics/Industrial & Production/Metallurgy/Aeronautical/Aerospace/BSMarine.Engg/Instrumentation/Instrumentation and control/ Automation & Robotics/Industrial Engg and Management and Production Engg
