The Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) Puducherry offers admission to MBBS programme through NEET UG Entrance Test administered by National Testing Agency (NTA). Generally course commences in the third week of July. The institute was ranked first among medical colleges in India in 2017 by Outlook India and fifth by The Week.
JIPMER MBBS Admission Eligibility
The candidates should atleast be 17 years of age.
The candidates should have successfully complete their class 12 or other equivalent examination from a recognized board in India.
It’s compulsory for the students to study Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology and English in their class 12 and should successfully clear in all the subjects individually in the qualifying examination.
The candidates should score a minimum of 50% marks in the class 12 or other equivalent examination.
How to apply for NEET UG Entrance Test
